Check before you buy

  • Your bottle is a standard 3 or 5 gallon jug
  • You have a USB charger or a power bank for the cable
  • You want room-temperature water: the pump does not heat or chill

Pick another one if

Your bottles are the small 1 or 2 gallon kind, or you want a tube that folds for travel. The SP-03 covers both.

Works well but design needs fine tuning

I was looking for a bottle pump that provides a decent stream of water, and this pump does just that. I might give it 5 stars after I try the recent replacement.Their customer service is easily 5 stars. The product is amazing, when it works as properly.I have had some problems with dependability. Most were due to a design glitch with the impeller that is at the end of the tubing. When it would stop running I had to remove the impeller tip and free up the moving part. The company stood behind their product without argument and have sent me a replacement with improvements in design.I will update the review if the new one is reliable.Overall I really like this pump. It holds a charge well, is quiet and fills things much faster than the others I have used.I wish it had an adapter so it would sit securely on the water bottles I use which have a smaller diameter opening.

    NO dribble here!!

Ok, so I wasn't thrilled about the price at the time, but I'm THRILLED that I bought this! I have been using a water pump in my 5 gallon water jugs since 2021. Ive gone thru 3 before this one. They are a lot cheaper, but the charge doesn't last very long and my last one had to be charged 3x to finish one 5 gallon jug and they keep shutting off in between. AND they pump a very slow stream of water. THIS one is on my second bottle and still going strong on the charge and it PUMPS SOOOOooooo much faster! VERY happy with this one and I highly recommend it!

Questions

SP-02 Water Pump: answers

Does the SP-02 fit a bottle with the cap still on?

Yes. It works through the standard snap cap of a refill bottle, so you do not need to pry the cap off.

Does it heat or chill the water?

No. The water comes out at the temperature it has in the bottle.

How do I clean the tube?

Run a quart of clean water through it when you change bottles. Wash the tube with mild soap once a month.
